Webmaster's Statement / Board Rules / Icon Policy

STATEMENT

The purpose of the VTTW Message Board is to provide a place for Tennessee Vols fans and good natured rivals to interact in a fun, friendly, and informative forum.  Everyone is welcome, but in order to maintain the quality of the Board, we have established a few basic rules.   You are advised that this is not what you should consider to be a true "Free Speech Zone".   I have rules and standards for this board, and if you do not abide by them, then at my sole discretion, your post(s) may be deleted and/or your internet provider may be blocked.  In such event as it is deemed necessary to block your internet provider, said provider may be notified of my reason for doing so.

POSTING MESSAGES

Prior to making your first post on any of our message boards, you must first enter the PROFILE CENTER. Simply select your own username and a password of your choice to enter. There is no formal registration process. Select your preferences in the Profile Center, and then return to the board to begin posting.

POSTING LINKS AND PICTURES

In order to post a hyperlink in a post, simply type (or paste) the URL you wish to link, and then add ":link" (w/o the quotation marks) to the end.  Example: To post a link to http://mudlizard.com/swamp, you would type http://mudlizard.com/swamp:link .

To make a picture show up in your post, simply type (or paste) the URL to the picture file, and then add ":pic" to the end.

RULES AND POLICIES (TERMS OF USE)

• First and foremost, keep it good natured.  This is supposed to be FUN.  The VTTW Message Board is not intended to be a "Smack Board".  If that is what you are looking for, then you have come to the wrong place.
• Posts containing obscenities, nude pictures, pornography, name calling, racial slurs, personal attacks directed at other posters and/or the University of Tennessee, its coaches and/or players, and mean spirited flames are a violation of the Board Rules, and as such, are subject to deletion.
•  No advertising or website promotion shall be permitted on this message board without the express consent of the webmaster.
• Ticket related posts (buying, selling, trading) shall be made only on the  VTTW Ticket Exchange.
• Please do not post copywrited articles or text on the VTTW Message Board.  Links to articles should be provided instead whenever possible. 

I reserve the right to modify these rules or impose new ones at any time, at my sole discretion and as I deem necessary, without notice.

USE OF THE VTTW MESSAGE BOARD OR ANY RELATED FORUMS SHALL SIGNIFY YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE ABOVE TERMS OF USE!

ICON POLICY

Personalized Icons may be used by posters with a minimum of 100 posts on the VTTW Message Board. They are to be upload by the poster via the Profile Center. Icons my not exceed 35 pixels in height, and 1 kb in size. They must in some way indicate the school (or schools) you support. Uploaded icons are reviewed by the webmaster, and you will be notified via e-mail as to wehether or not it is accepted.

Note: I reserve the right to withdraw your personalized icon for the violation of board policies.
